Villa "Oasis" (V. Krėvės g. 6.)

Druskininkai villas at V. Krėvės St. Nos. 4 and 6 are preserved and protected examples of typical resort architecture. Both villas were built around 1930, and it is very likely that they were designed by the same architect, as the composition of the facades, the dynamics of the windows, and the silhouette of the multi-pitched roofs covering the attics are very similar. In a book on Druskininkai published in 1933, Villa Oasis is presented as a modern boarding house, guaranteeing maximum relaxation and comfort. The advertisement emphasises the modernity and comfort of the villa, which should have been ensured by modern elements such as rooms with spacious verandas, a large dining room, a piano and bathrooms.
