Curved bridge

This is a beautiful arched footbridge at the mouth of the Ratnyčėlė River. The Ratnyčėlė flows out of the Latežero and is 33 kilometres long. The river is particularly beautiful and very noisy at its confluence with the Nemunas. The shoreline is of extraordinary beauty, with huge alder trees and is a favourite place for walkers, especially the path stretching from the mouth to the next bridge over M. K. Čiurlionio Street. The bridge is decorated with a decorative sculpture “Ratnyčėlė” (sculptor B. Vyšniauskas), erected in 1962.
