On the outskirts of Druskininkai, near Eglė sanatorium, surrounded by the Dzūkija forest and lake, we rent a spacious apartment in a house with a separate entrance from the owners and a green spacious enclosed courtyard, where holidaymakers can store their cars, bicycles, use the grill and equipped shelters. Buckthorn, snowdrops, mandarin aralia, eleutherococcus, junipers and other plants, together with the plants of the nearby pond, the sounds of birds and animals, create a gentle, healing microclimate that improves sleep. In high season, holidaymakers can go mushroom and berry picking and collect herbs. For those who like to walk, there are pedestrian sidewalks and easy access to the city bus.
