Lithuanians love traditional dishes made from potatoes, grains and meat. The most popular dishes of our region are šaltiborščiai, cepelinai, skilandis and šakotis. In regional cuisine restaurants you will also find potato or buckwheat pancakes with sour cream, herring with mushroom sauce, peas with pig's trotters, fried bread with garlic. And, of course, beer or kvass from their own brewery.
