Monument to M.K. Čiurlionis

Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis – Lithuania’s most famous artist, who grew up and worked in Druskininkai,
and who spoke fondly of the resort in his letters. The monument to M. K. Čiurlionis, designed by Vladas Vildžiūnas, was
erected in 1975 to mark the 100th anniversary of the artist’s birth. V. Vildžiūnas and the architect
R. Dičius were awarded the Republican Prize for the monument.
