The sculpture ‘Rest’
The sculpture *Rest*, created by Juozas Kėdainis, was installed in the Druskininkai Spa Park in 1959. J. Kėdainis was a chronicler of the peasant worldview, who succeeded in immortalising the life and daily routine of ordinary people. The sculptor imbued his characters with authenticity of thought and feeling and gave meaning to their existence, as if capturing a moment of everyday life.
