Eimont Bronzini (Eimontas Stankevičius) was born in Vilnius. In 1982 he graduated from the Vilnius Institute of Art, with sculpture his chosen subject. He has participated in numerous exhibitions in Europe and the USA. In 1999 he emigrated to the United States where he continued his creative work. In 2004 he held several solo exhibitions in New York. In return for his original, creative work, the artist has been awarded the ‘Marco Polo’ (Venice, Italy), the ‘Michelangelo’ (Rome, Italy), and the ‘Leonardo da Vinci’ (Venice, Italy).

‘LIETUVA LEGENDA’ (literally in English: ‘LITHUANIA, THE LEGEND’) is a monument which is dedicated to Lithuania. The figure of a woman with four faces symbolises our homeland: the four ethnographic regions of Dzūkija, Suvalkija, Aukštaitija, and Žemaitija. Following a long journey, ‘LIETUVA LEGENDA’ has finally found its place in Druskininkai.
