Creation and development of a network of tourism services and communication activities in the region

The Druskininkai Tourism and Business Information Centre is implementing the project “Establishment and development of a regional network of tourism services and communication activities” (No. 21-318-P-0001), funded by the European Union Funds Investment Programme 2021-2027. The project is funded under the Alytus Regional Development Plan and the Regional Progress Measure, which aims to improve accessibility to public services, availability of jobs and efficient use of resources.

The aim of the project is to create a network of regional tourism services for the development of communication activities. The implementation of the project will allow for the development of innovative, sustainable and unified marketing of tourist facilities and services in the Alytus region at the regional level in order to stimulate the growth of tourism in the region.
The project aims to:
- increase the visibility, attractiveness and visitability of the Alytus region;
- promote sustainable tourism;
- creation of modern information tools and new communication content;
- promoting cooperation between municipalities and developing joint tourism products;
- contribute to the economic and social development of the region.

Project duration – 7 July 2025. – 31 December 2027
Total project cost: EUR 458,800, of which EUR 389,980 is funded by the European Union.
Discovering and promoting the tourist treasures of Druskininkai and Supraśl health resorts

Druskininkai and Supraśl (Poland) have taken up the challenge of promoting cross-border tourism!
The Druskininkai Tourist and Business Information Centre, together with the municipality of Supraśl, is implementing the project ‘Discovering and promoting the tourist treasures of the health resorts of Supraśl and Druskininkai’. The project number LTPL00326 is implemented and partly financed under the Interreg VI-A Lithuania-Poland Programme.
Partners and organisers: Druskininkai Tourism and Business Information Centre and the Supraśl Municipality.
Project aims:
- To strengthen cross-border cooperation;
- Increasing the visibility and attractiveness of the region for tourists from Lithuania, Poland and other countries.
Project objectives:
- Mobile tourist application;
- Tourist guide for two resorts;
- map of the two resorts;
- joint promotional video;
- a series of short videos (reels) for social networks.
Two international conferences between Lithuanian and Polish partners will be organised during the project to discuss opportunities, directions and results of tourism product marketing.
Project implementation period: from 1 December 2024 to 30 November 2025.
Total project value: EUR 136,111.80, of which EUR 108,889.43 is funded by the Lithuania-Poland Interreg Programme.
