In the 7th decade of the 20th century. In the 1970s, attempts were made to destroy them, and many of the tombstones were taken to Druskininkai to pave the mouth of the Ratnyčia River. The cemetery was cleaned up in order to take care of the Jewish cultural heritage. A monument with inscriptions reminding us that there was an old Jewish cemetery here has been erected.
