Jaques Lipchitz (1891-1973), a famous French sculptor born in Druskininkai, said all his life that “without Lithuanian roots he would not have created his great trees of life”. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the creation of the sculpture park bearing his name in his home town (1998). The park’s exposition will help you learn not only about Ž. Lipšics’ life and work, but also about the sculptors who worked during the Plein Air Workshops.
