Silk painting is relaxation, self-expression and a way to spend time together.
Educational classes on painting on silk are held in the artist’s workshop at the Druskininkai Crafts Centre “Menų kalvė”. The lesson gives a closer look at silk, its history and allows you to try it out in practice.
The lessons include learning how to paint the outlines of a sketch, how to pour paint and how to print silk in a variety of ways. The result is unpredictable but always exciting and original.
After the class, you will go home with a lovely piece of work that will delight you for years to come.
All necessary tools are provided. Everyone can paint. No special training is required.
