Čiurlionis House-Museum

The Museum was founded in 1963 in the house of the artist’s and composer’s Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis (1875–1911) parents, where he lived and worked in 1896-1910. The memorial part of exposition consists of two wooden houses introducing history of the family. In one of them there are family physharmonica, piano of M.K. Čiurlionis and other authentic family belongings displayed, whereas the other building is an authentic study of M.K.Čiurlionis. The two other houses host expositions of the art, biography and family history of the artist. Various events, meetings with artists, concerts and exhibitions take place at the museum
