If you want to get a closer look at the Lithuania history, we suggest you visit the Museum of Resistance and Exile, which was set up by former exiles and political prisoners. Three exhibits depicting the exile, 1944-1953, operate continuously here. Lithuania’s resistance to the occupation, guerrilla battles, and women’s participation in these events. Here you will also find the memorial room of A. Dambrauskas, a former political prisoner, a prominent cultural figure. To experience the spirit of past events, you can also choose the first partisan war-themed tourist route “Guerrilla Trails” and visit two bunkers.
