Druskininkai is best known for its varied outdoor natural beauty spots including forests, biking trails and lakes for summertime swimming and winter-based ice water dips. The Karolis Dineika Wellness Park gives visiting wellness-seekers the opportunity to take in the town’s ionised air and pine trees, which have long been recognized for helping alleviate respiratory disorders. The town is also home to a number of unique examples of architecture which date back from the 18th century to the present day.
