This is a place where history and the present intertwine. Wayside shrines, crosses, sculptures of saints, mythological characters – all that you can see here are the works of the wood sculptor and artist Gintautas Akstinas. The gallery’s exposition is complemented by the handicrafts of the master’s wife. As you explore the exposition, you will hear stories about Baltic symbols, deities and Christian iconography. After the tour, you will have a chance to taste home-made bread baked by the hostess and enjoy herbal teas. If you want to make a souvenir, we also offer educational activities.
